GSA SCHEDULE CONTRACT NUMBER: GS-10F-0413MThe following are examples of tasks that may be performed by Special Item Number (SIN). These are examples only and are not meant to exclude or limit any authentic environmental advisory service under this Federal Supply Schedule. Examples include, but are not limited to the following: As specified in the task order, the contractor shall supply conventional course development and presentations, customized courses to meet specific needs, and computer-based interactive course development. Occupational training services should apply only to those SINs identified in the Schedule of Items. Conventional Course Development and PresentationsGBK provides a full complement of environmental, occupational health and safety training and certification services to address federal, state, and local regulations, as well as command and agency directives. Our USEPA* and IFSAC certified training teams have provided over 800,000 student/contact hours of certified instruction. GBK provides conventional instruction in classroom venues, seminars, workshops, video presentations, and on-the-job training. GBK currently maintains over fifty standardized curricula to include training to meet federal, state, and local regulations such as health & safety training mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for Hazardous Waste Operators (HAZWOPER) and hazard communication training for personnel working with and around hazardous chemicals. Other GBK training courses include, NFPA 471/472; ISO 14001 implementation and auditing; municipal waste water treatment plant and industrial facilities inspections; radiation protection and safety; handling and shipping of hazardous materials; pollution prevention initiatives; and sustainability. Customized Training to Meet Specific NeedsCustomized courses may be necessary because of specialized content or format requirements. GBK has created hundreds of courses tailored specifically to customer requirements. Our subject matter experts, and instructional systems designers have created courses for the Air Force, Army, Navy, DLA, FAA, EPA and other federal agencies, as well as state and local governments and private industry. GBK develops courses in specialized presentation formats including, workshops seminars, video, web-cast (or “webinars”), and web or server-based SCORM 1.2/2004 and AICC-compliant interactive courseware. Computer-based Interactive Course DevelopmentGBK is a recognized leader in the development of e-learning content and instructional systems design for ESOH requirements. Our designers have designed, developed and deployed web, server and computer-based courses in seven countries and in six languages.
